1. Support Eligibility
The program targets overseas central and local governments as well as international organizations, and only one project may be submitted per jurisdictional city
Eligible Applicants
- Domestic companies or institutions that possess smart solutions developed and demonstrated in Korea and wish to expand overseas.

A domestic company must serve as the lead organization if it ① has prior overseas demonstration experience or ② is preparing for overseas demonstration. A consortium with an overseas partner institution is mandatory.
- ※ Overseas partner institutions must be local entities responsible for carrying out the demonstration (limited to central or local governments). A Letter of Intent (LOI) or Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) must be submitted (otherwise the application will be disqualified).
Eligible Solutions
- Smart solutions* that have been developed or applied in Korea and are intended for overseas demonstration (whether provided as standalone services, platforms, systems, or as a package).

Smart solutions* that can improve the quality of life for citizens and enhance urban management efficiency in areas such as transportation, energy, environment, security, safety, and urban administration.
- ※ Smart solutions : technologies that provide services in areas such as communication, energy, environment, safety, and urban administration, including related platforms and systems.

Solutions* that have already been demonstrated under the K-City Network Solution Demonstration program are not eligible for selection if proposed for demonstration again in the same country.
- ※ However, solutions that build upon previously demonstrated solutions—by expanding the scope of application, enhancing functionality, or introducing differentiated technologies—may be considered eligible.
Eligible Cities
- Overseas cities that have prepared a preliminary feasibility study or concept design (Concept Paper) for demonstrating Korean smart solutions, or cities that express willingness to adopt Korean technologies.
2. Support Scale

Support Scale : Up to six projects may be selected, and each project may receive approximately KRW 300–400 million.
Matching contributions from overseas partner institutions or participating companies (in-kind or cash) are allowed, and higher matching may receive additional evaluation points.
- ※ The number of supported projects and the amount of funding may change depending on government budget and evaluation results.

Eligible Costs : Support covers direct expenses and related costs required for demonstration projects, including equipment and system development, transportation, local installation and operation, and cooperation with overseas institutions.
3. How to Apply
At the beginning of each year, a call for project proposals is announced, and final candidate projects are selected through document review and presentation evaluations.

5. Important Notes
- If it is confirmed after selection that the applicant was selected through fraudulent means such as falsification, alteration, or false reporting of submitted documents, the selection may be canceled.
- Submitted documents will not be returned.
- Any disadvantages arising from errors or omissions in submitted documents or from the inability to contact the applicant are considered the sole responsibility of the applicant.
- If differences arise in interpreting the contents of the call guidelines or evaluation criteria, the interpretation of the selection committee or relevant authorities will prevail.
- If there are discrepancies between the Korean and English guidelines, the Korean version shall take precedence.
